Cala de la Fustera (Benissa)
Compact sandy cove in Benissa with turquoise water, easy beach access and a scenic setting beside the ecological coastal path.
Description
La Fustera is one of the most comfortable small coves on the Benissa coast: a compact sandy beach set between rocky outcrops and low Mediterranean vegetation. Even though it is smaller than the big urban beaches nearby, it feels open and easy to use thanks to its broad shore and straightforward access.
The water is usually very clear and the seabed around the rocks is one of the reasons the cove is popular for snorkelling. Posidonia meadows and the contrast between sand, stone and transparent water give the beach a distinctly natural character, while the calmer central area remains suitable for relaxed swimming and family time.
La Fustera also works well as a base for exploring on foot. The ecological promenade along the Benissa coast starts here, so it is easy to combine a morning at the beach with a short coastal walk, a visit to nearby coves or a stop at the tourist information point and Aula del Mar.
