Moraira Patron Festivities 2026

From 3 to 19 July, Moraira celebrates its patron saint fiestas. This visitor-friendly guide explains what happens, when it starts and where to go. Note: Bous a la Mar is a traditional bull-running event in the taurine area by the harbour. According to the programme, access to the taurine area is forbidden for under-16s.

  • Friday 3 July - fiesta opening20:30 Band concert at Club Náutico Moraira. 23:00 Festeros and jury visit decorated streets and balconies, meeting at El Fortí. 00:00 Chupinazo in Plaza de la Iglesia: official opening signal.
  • Saturday 4 July - presentation and opening speech10:00 Open-water swim to L’Andragó. 18:00 Children’s Milla Urbana race on Avenida de la Paz. 19:00 Milla Urbana race on Avenida de la Paz, registration via somesport.com. 21:30 Fiesta parade towards the Explanada del Castillo. 23:00 Presentation of the 2026 festeros/festeras and opening speech; then Orquesta La Fiesta.
